Know well the state of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds, for riches are not forever, nor does the crown endure to all generations. The hay is removed, and the new growth appears, the grasses of the hills are gathered in. The lambs are for your clothing, and the goats are the price of a field. There will be plenty of goats' milk for your food, for your family's food, and for the nourishment of your servant girls. Proverbs 27:23-27

Elliot

Elliot, previously Melvin, comes to us from a farm in North Central Arkansas.  Elliot means "Yahuah is God." I did not know that before naming him, but I'm glad the Father dropped that into my spirit for this sweet boy.

Elliot comes from amazing milk lines. Elliot is 26.6% Nubian, 25% Toggenburg, 25% Alpine, 23.4% Nigerian Dwarf. His dam is Toggenburg/Alpine and gives 2 gallons of milk a day at peak.  His sire is Nubian/Nigerian Dwarf.  His sire's dam gives 1 1/2 gallons of milk a day at peak.

We are excited to add this dairy buck to our little herd.  Keep watching for what beautiful dairy kids he gives us!
