Know well the state of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds, for riches are not forever, nor does the crown endure to all generations. The hay is removed, and the new growth appears, the grasses of the hills are gathered in. The lambs are for your clothing, and the goats are the price of a field. There will be plenty of goats' milk for your food, for your family's food, and for the nourishment of your servant girls. Proverbs 27:23-27

Gem of Jones Family Farm

Gem is out of Gretl and Aslan.  She is a big girl.  Big enough that we bred her very young, and she kidded at 9 months old!  She is an excellent mother and getting better on the milk stand every day.
My daughter, Sofia, at Forgotten Tradition, decided she did not want to keep Gem, so I'm buying her back (she was given to Sofia as part of her first herd, but they just don't get along.  Goats!) I am pleased to welcome Gem back to Jones Family Farm!
Gem is a beautiful gold and white, blue eyed doe.  She will be bred to Elliot this fall!
